4.5 "Age of History II" is a captivating grand strategy game that immerses players in the complexities of world history. With its rich features and engaging gameplay, it offers a unique experience for history buffs and strategy enthusiasts alike. Here are some of the standout features that make this app a must-try:
As a history enthusiast and strategy game lover, I often find myself reaching for "Age of History II" during my downtime. Whether I’m waiting for an appointment or relaxing at home, the app provides a perfect escape into a world where I can shape history. One memorable scenario was during a long train ride; I started a campaign as the Byzantine Empire, aiming to reclaim lost territories. The immersive gameplay kept me engaged for hours, as I navigated through alliances and wars, all while watching the landscape change outside my window.
The user interface of "Age of History II" is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy for both newcomers and seasoned players to dive right in. The main menu is straightforward, with clear options for starting a new game, continuing a campaign, or accessing settings. The graphics are simple yet effective, allowing for a smooth experience on both mobile and tablet devices. I particularly appreciated the tutorial that guided me through the initial stages of gameplay, ensuring I understood the mechanics without feeling overwhelmed. Performance-wise, the app runs smoothly without any noticeable lag, even during intense battles. Overall, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive, as the game strikes a perfect balance between challenge and enjoyment.
"Age of History II" is available for a one-time purchase, which I found to be quite reasonable considering the depth of content and replayability it offers. There are no hidden fees or subscription models, allowing players to enjoy the full experience without worrying about ongoing costs. This straightforward pricing model is refreshing in a market often filled with microtransactions.
The developers of "Age of History II" are committed to enhancing the user experience through regular updates. I’ve noticed several patches that have improved gameplay mechanics and added new features, which shows their dedication to the community. Additionally, customer support is responsive; I reached out with a minor query and received a helpful response within a day. This level of support adds to the overall satisfaction of using the app.
When it comes to security and privacy, "Age of History II" takes a responsible approach. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards for mobile applications. Upon registration, the app requires minimal personal data, which is a significant plus for users concerned about privacy. I was able to start playing without providing excessive information, which made me feel more secure.
Moreover, the app does not bombard users with ads, which is often a concern in free-to-play games. There is no tracking behavior that compromises user privacy, allowing for a more enjoyable gaming experience without the fear of data misuse. Overall, I felt confident using "Age of History II," knowing that my personal information was protected while I indulged in my passion for history and strategy.

I love this game so much, but please fix your game. When I go to war, the AI is unrealistic when I try peacing out. I will take over 80% - 90% of the country, and they still won't peace out, no matter what I do. Even if I offer to pay reparations and not gain anything. Then, they somehow still have the economy to raise likr 10 stacks of four thoudand troops. But, even though those issues always annoy everytime I play, the game is still very good and very enjoyable!

Great game. I love it. It's just that whenever I open a menu or a new game or something like that, the screen starts shaking weird. I restarted the game, restarted my phone, but it kept happening. Please fix this, as it is hindering this game from reach full potential. Also, not a bug but a scenario suggestion, can you do a age of colonialism, like with the thirteen colonies, colonial powers in Africa and North America?

This is a great grand strategy game, probably the best I have seen for mobile. It is, as advertised, easy to learn. The scenario editor allows for many possibilities, but is very glitchy. The glitches are the only complaint I have with the entire game, along with poor documentation for the diplomacy options and what they do. This game was definitely worth the 5 dollars it costed.

One of the best games I've played in this genre thus far. Most of the complaints I've had has already been stated in other reviews that I've seen. There is one I haven't seen yet and it's with the "Custom Leader" on that part. You do get your leader in the game but you can not edit them later on to test stats (administration, military upkeep, etc.). Other than that it is a really good game and I look forward to what else the devs have in-store this title and many others!

Very good game. One of my favorites! But please fix the problems with the app crashing. Please fix the saving. It does not save game until I play all the turns with every country Im playing as. Please allow me to save the game whenever. The "Save Next Turn" is making me lose hours of progress because the app crashes before Im able to finish and save. Also it would be nice if this game was available on Xbox or something. I play on my phone and the game crashes if I get a phone call
