I really do enjoy the stores, and the efforts that went into them, hence the 5 stars. The stories are really addictive. My only issue is how much it costs just to read 1 book. Reading one short book on this app costs waaaaay more then purchasing 3-4 books from a store. If you don't want to pay all that money, it would literally take over a month, and watching a bunch of ads, just to get through 1 story.

They get you with the first free chapters, which are actually chapters, then you have to pay a ridiculous amount to unlock segments of chapters that they call chapters. Watch 15 videos to get maybe 1 piece of a chapter a day, but your bonuses expire in 2 days and the "chapters" go up in price as you progress through the book. A book would cost hundreds of dollars to read on this app. Go back to the library or kindle.

Predatory to both readers and writers. Their contracted writers are essentially held hostage; see the Writer Beware blog post for details on that. Readers get very short error-ridden chapters they have to pay crazy amounts of money for. Yes there are ads to get coins, but the amount of ads you have to watch to get enough is intolerable, and half the time it fails to register the ad you watched and doesn't give the coin. I'm going to try Inkitt and Readict instead and see if they are any better.

Sadly I have to change my rating. I was really enjoing a book and bought a top up. this was the first time I purchased anything from the app. after I ran out of purchased coins I thought I would go back to using ads to read chapters. but today I went to go read and no article chapters. I realized I had 8 coins left and diligently did bonus tasks, wiped out coins, and then assumed I would get my ads for chapters but even re-downloading didn't bring it back. so great unless you spend money.

Started reading a story because of an Ad. Takes forever to earn coins in order to read without paying. They don't tell you how long until the end of the story. I googled and found out after 400 chapters it's just a bunch of BS - the story goes no where/no development. Glad I found thatout before I spent any real money on this app. Will be deleting.
