3.7 The "FOX LOCAL: Live Streaming News" app is a powerful tool for anyone looking to stay informed about local news and events. With its user-friendly interface and robust features, it stands out in the crowded field of news applications. Here are some of its core features:
As a busy professional, I often find myself juggling multiple responsibilities, which makes staying updated on local news a challenge. I typically use the "FOX LOCAL: Live Streaming News" app during my morning commute. While waiting for the train, I can catch up on the latest headlines and watch live reports. Additionally, during lunch breaks, I often check the app for updates on local events or community issues that might affect my neighborhood. The app has become an essential part of my daily routine, allowing me to stay informed without dedicating too much time to traditional news sources.
The user interface of the "FOX LOCAL: Live Streaming News" app is intuitive and straightforward. Upon opening the app, I am greeted with a clean layout that highlights the most important news stories of the day. Navigating through different sections is seamless, and I appreciate the quick loading times for both articles and live streams. The feature workflow is smooth; I can easily switch between live broadcasts and recorded segments without any lag. Overall, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The app not only keeps me informed but also engages me with its interactive features, making news consumption feel less like a chore and more like an enjoyable activity.
The "FOX LOCAL: Live Streaming News" app is free to download and use, which is a significant advantage for users looking for accessible news coverage. While there are ads present, they are not overly intrusive, allowing for a relatively uninterrupted experience. For those who want an ad-free experience, there may be premium options available, but I find the free version sufficient for my needs.
The app receives regular updates, which is crucial for maintaining performance and introducing new features. I’ve noticed improvements in streaming quality and the addition of new content categories over time. Customer support is also responsive; I once encountered a minor issue with notifications, and the support team addressed my concern promptly. This level of attention to user feedback enhances my overall satisfaction with the app.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any app, especially one that provides news and information. The "FOX LOCAL: Live Streaming News" app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of credibility. Registration is straightforward, requiring minimal personal data, which I appreciate. The app does not ask for excessive permissions, ensuring that my privacy is respected.
Regarding ads and tracking behavior, the app does display advertisements, but they are relevant and not overly invasive. I have not noticed any aggressive tracking practices, which is a relief in today’s digital landscape. Overall, I feel secure using the app, knowing that my personal information is handled with care and that I can enjoy my news without compromising my privacy.

Hate to give it 1 star, but for the past 5 days, when I open the app, it errors saying it cannot connect to the internet. After I force close it, and start the app again, it gives me an error that it couldn't start, error, try again. my phone is connected to the internet and shows it as being active, but the app clearly has issues.

I have no idea why you would get rid of a fully functional app and replace it with this one. The layout is not intuitive and I can't get the videos to play most of the time. I use it for my local news but if it isn't going to function I have other local news apps I can use. 6/24/26 The latest version directs most articles to the website where the article I wanted to see is buried among lots of other stuff. I'm guessing it's for ad revenue but it causes me to use a different news app instead.

New user forced off my previous local channel app (which worked fine). Thus far, I can find no way to access any settings whatsoever on this app. You turn off notifications on start up and that's it? No option to turn them back on? There doesn't seem to be a way to share an article either. Maybe there is and I'm missing it -- but there's no way to request help or leave feedback other than a review, so who knows? These are basic app functions that you're missing. Do better.

Used to be a big fan of the app in its original form. I also used to get 5 to 6 news notifications a day on all sort of news from central Florida; it made me feel close to home. Now, I have not gotten a single news notification since they changed app format (I lost count how many times I've checked my settings). Local news are not as prolific as they used to be. The news app may be a great cust-cutting measure, but it doesn't change the fact it doesn't deliver as it used to do before.

I get a few minutes in the morning to watch news. The app keeps stopping, maybe restarts in a few seconds, maybe not. very frustrating to not get to watch as if it was live TV. WHAT NOW?? I have been going to the website to watch live for the last few months. NOW it says to "update the app"??????? Come on, y'all can do better than that!
