3.9 Pandora - Music & Podcasts is a versatile app that has transformed the way I enjoy audio content. With its user-friendly interface and a plethora of features, it caters to both music lovers and podcast enthusiasts alike. Here are some of the core features that stand out:
My daily routine is often accompanied by music and podcasts, and Pandora has become my go-to app for both. In the mornings, I kickstart my day with a lively pop station while I prepare breakfast. The upbeat tunes energize me and set a positive tone for the day ahead. During my commute, I switch to a podcast about personal development, which keeps me engaged and inspired as I navigate through traffic. Even during workouts, I rely on Pandora to provide the perfect high-energy playlist that keeps me motivated. The versatility of the app allows me to adapt my listening experience to fit any scenario seamlessly.
The user interface of Pandora is intuitive and visually appealing. Navigating through the app feels effortless, with clearly labeled sections for music, podcasts, and playlists. I appreciate how quickly I can create a new station or find a podcast episode. The performance is consistently smooth, with minimal buffering, even when I’m streaming over cellular data. One of my favorite aspects is the ability to easily give feedback on songs, which enhances my experience as the app learns my preferences. Overall, using Pandora feels like having a personal DJ who knows exactly what I want to hear, making my listening experience enjoyable and personalized.
Pandora offers a free version that includes ads, which is a great way to explore the app without any commitment. However, for those who prefer an ad-free experience and additional features like offline listening, the premium subscription is available. The pricing is reasonable, and I find that the benefits of the premium version, such as unlimited skips and the ability to create playlists, are well worth the investment for avid listeners like myself.
Pandora regularly updates its app to enhance user experience and introduce new features. I’ve noticed improvements in the app’s performance and the addition of new podcast categories, which keeps the content fresh and engaging. The support team is responsive and helpful, addressing any issues I’ve encountered promptly. The FAQ section on their website is also comprehensive, making it easy to find answers to common questions.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any app, and Pandora takes these concerns seriously. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards. When registering, I was required to provide basic personal information, but I appreciate that Pandora allows me to customize my privacy settings. While the free version includes ads, I’ve noticed that they are not overly intrusive, and I feel comfortable knowing that my data is handled responsibly. Additionally, Pandora’s transparency regarding tracking behavior and data usage gives me peace of mind as I enjoy my favorite music and podcasts.

I listen to music every day! This app is what I use and I think its better than Spotify. I use the standard and I only have to listen to one short add and I get 30mins of music, but after a while of listening to an add and playing 30 mins of music they say something like "We know you love our music" and they won't let you play your own playlists or chose songs, but you can still listen to the stations you have. I understand but I love music so I just get a little sad when that happens.

This is by far, the only music streaming app I know that actually offers a free version that doesn't limit your songs or playlists. What sets this app apart from others, is that it doesn't pressure you into upgrading to a paid subscription. Yes, there are ads if you're using the free version, but they are minimal. Also, you can play whatever song you want, whenever you want, by watching a short ad. I highly recommend this app to everyone!

It's fine, but I can't add the majority of my favorite artists as stations or as variety to stations. Just keep being told "an unexpected error occurred." I understand there's a lot of music and more every day, but it would be nice if you added an option in app to request certain songs or artists to be added. As it stands Pandora is pretty useless to me without most of my favorite songs. Edit. The issue isn't something that needs "troubleshooting". You just haven't added most of my fav artists.

I've been using this app since I was about 11... and it doesn't let me unlike songs I had liked years ago, just tells me there's been an issue. The "liked songs" tab also doesn't give you an option to unlike songs in general, and it's always out of date. Hit like on a song but I have to wait weeks until it shows. The amount of pop ups is also starting to get ridiculous. My "top artists" are still from when I let my coworker use my pandora for a few hours two years ago???

This is not a good app for Android. It continuously becomes unresponsive, refusing to play any music, skip to the next song, or play another station. It has happened three times in the past 48 hours. I would use something else. Now 3 years after this review the service has locked me out of my account & won't allow me to reset my password and customer support is non-existent you have to wait for them to get around to emailing you. Issues persist the service has gone down 3 times in the last week
