4.8 The "Marriott Bonvoy: Book Hotels" app is a powerful tool for travelers, offering a seamless experience for booking accommodations and managing reservations. Here are some of its standout features:
As a frequent traveler for both work and leisure, I often find myself reaching for the "Marriott Bonvoy: Book Hotels" app. One particular instance was during a recent business trip to San Francisco. I had a packed schedule and needed a hotel that was close to my meetings. I opened the app, quickly filtered my search to show only properties within a mile of my meeting locations, and found a great hotel that fit my budget. The ability to book on-the-go is invaluable, especially when plans change unexpectedly.
The user interface of the "Marriott Bonvoy" app is intuitive and user-friendly. Upon opening the app, I was greeted with a clean layout that made navigation a breeze. The search function is straightforward, allowing me to filter results by price, location, and amenities. I particularly appreciated the detailed descriptions and photos of each hotel, which helped me make informed decisions. The app's performance was smooth, with quick loading times and no crashes during my usage. Overall, my experience was positive, and I felt confident in my bookings thanks to the app's reliability.
The app is free to download and use, which is a significant advantage for travelers looking to save money. While the app itself doesn’t charge fees for bookings, the prices of hotels can vary based on demand and location. However, the exclusive member rates often provide substantial savings, making it a cost-effective choice for frequent travelers.
Marriott regularly updates the app to enhance user experience and add new features. I noticed a recent update that improved the mobile check-in process, making it even more efficient. Customer support is readily available through the app, with options for live chat and FAQs. I had a minor issue with my reservation once, and the support team was quick to respond and resolve my concern, which left me feeling valued as a customer.
When it comes to security and privacy, the "Marriott Bonvoy: Book Hotels" app takes several measures to protect user data. It is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the security standards of these platforms. Upon registration, users are required to provide personal information, including name, email, and payment details, which are securely encrypted.
As an American user, I appreciate that the app does not bombard me with ads or excessive tracking behavior. It does track my preferences to enhance my experience, but I have control over my privacy settings. Overall, I feel secure using the app, knowing that my personal information is handled with care.

I love the app. especially the mobile check in and the membership deals w/o having to pay a monthly fee. I normally pay for my rooms upfront so I get a discount which is probably my favorite part of the up so I only have to worry about the incidental/resort fees when I get there which will be returned and the points are so useful

Can't even get passed sign up. I tried to create an account but when registering, it keeps saying to add a number or special character (!@#$%_), which I did, but it's not registering any of them, so it keeps telling me my password doesn't meet the requirements. I tried uninstalling & reinstalling, tried my to create the account on my web browser, on my laptop, & it still doesn't work. Not sure how it has higher than a 1 star rating cause this app is useless.

Can't use the app. Says my device is rooted when it's not. Automatically shuts down the app. No one is going to factory reset their device to hope that the app might work again. Edit: after uninstalling then reinstalling a couple more times, it now works. It works fine like it did for the first 10 minutes I had the app upon initial download. Edit2: after coming back to it after some time it's doing the same thing. Edit: 2 years later still doing it. Fail.

When the app works, it's great. However, since the last update, it crashes immediately with an alert about a bug. This was especially frustrating while traveling overseas without a computer, as I relied on my Android devices to book and contact hotels. The app's constant crashing made it nearly impossible to use. My phone is even overheating now as I write this, so I’m uninstalling the app.

Frequent crashes, trouble loading, and hard to use. Trying to use your mobile key to get into the room? Just take the plastic key out of your wallet..... saves you about 30 minutes of loading time. Want to book a room? Allow 3 to 5 business days for a list of hotels to load. Checking in or out? Definitely start doing that about 2 weeks before you even arrive. This app is SO BAD. It used to work GREAT and be an amazing app. But now, it's pure trash.
